Insha’Allah, Muharram Programs will start on Wednesday, June 17th and will end on Saturday, June 27th, 2026.
Ashura Day will be announced once the moon sighting is confirmed.
There will be two (2) programs throughout the evenings, except for Ashura Day, which will be held together.
1st Program:
Arabic Program – Recited by Syed Alaaedin
7:00 PM to 8:45 PM
2nd Program:
English – Recited by H.I. Sh. Asem Ahmadi
Farsi – Recited by H.I. Sh. Khurram Baladov
Noha Reciter – Br. Khersaw Ghulam Sarwar
9:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Parking
Since Muharram is a busy time, please be considerate of parking in the parking lot. There is free parking on Ellice, Beverley, and Simcoe to accommodate the vehicles.
Do not overcrowd the parking lot, especially when one program ends and the other one starts. Also, be considerate of others who may need it more than you.

Recitation of Noha/Sena Zani
This year, we have invited Br. Khesraw to recite Noha/Sena Zani.
Nazr/Offerings
Anyone who wants to offer Nazr or to donate for the cause of Nazr/Offerings, please coordinate with the Yaseen Centre Committee Board so there is no confusion or crossover on the evenings where there is one.
Donations
We encourage all community members to donate generously via electronic money transfer (EMT), cheque or cash donations. Tax receipts are available for those who require them.
